NEC MultiSync EA109M
$259.00
Released December, 2009
The Pros:720p capable resolution. Slim professional bezel. Standard aspect ratio monitors are becoming less and less common.
The Cons:Basic resolution. Unusually high price. TN panel - poor viewing angles, colour depth.
The NEC MultiSync EA109M is a standard-aspect ratio LCD that has an extremely high price that over reaches the quality of the monitor. The contrast ratio is a basic 900:1 and the resolution is 1,280 x 1,024 - not that special for a 19 inch monitor released in late in the game.

The price is a pricey two hundred and fifty nine dollars, pretty sharp for a monitor targeting business, government and educational segments. The NEC MultiSync EA109M is business-oriented with its all-black bezel and its 4-way ergonomic stand. It has a decent enough 5 ms response time and 250 nits of brightness, but on the whole the only thing that is particularly special about the monitor is that a standard-aspect ratio LCD monitor is getting more difficult to find on the market.
