Pretty sweet. Was this showcased at CES 2007?

Yes it was. I've been on the lookout for one of the new hardware based media streamers but the reality is that XBMC on the Xbox is hard to beat.

Very, true. There hasn't been an XBMC killer yet, IMO. However, I think the HD limitation of the Xbox (not enough juice to stream HD) means that it can be beat. Wait, did I just say that?

Question is will it do all wma formats? How about wma10 pro??

If it doesn't initially, then the network capabilities will hopefully allow the device to update itself. That's one of the reasons why computers will usually edge out these dedicated devices since it's so flexible with every codec. But then you have the problem of connecting the computer to your TV. XMBC + PC for the win.

I sent a WMA 10 pro file to a beta tester of the EVA8000 and it did play. So I guess the answer is yes. As a side note PRO also plays fine on the iriver clix.
