The Netgear RangeMax WNDA3100 is an entry-level dual band Wireless-N USB 2.0 adapter that works with Microsoft Windows desktops and laptops. It features two bands: 2.4GHz and 5GHz. This means that one band can be used for email and web browsing, whereas the faster band can be utilized for streaming HD video and playing online games. It is backwards compatible with Wireless-G and Wireless-B networks, but a Wireless-N should be utilized for the highest throughput. Included also is an easy secured setup with Push ‘N’ Connect using WiFi Protection Setup (WPS).
