Anonymous: #netgear_wnce2001 I was thinking of purchasing the WNCE2001 for my home theater... Now, if I were to connect it to a Blu-Ray player that can already connect to my home network wirelessly using the Vizio Internet apps, would I get more options on the internet through the WNCE2001?, Or the same kind of apps using the already installed Vizio apps like Vudu, Netflix, Facebook, Twitter, Flickr...? shadowtech: There aren't any apps on that piece of networking hardware. All your apps are located on the blu-ray player. You might be interested in one of many set-top boxes if you'd like additional Internet-based content. Jan 12, 11

Anonymous: #netgear_wnce2001 DO NOT buy this if you use a ATT 2wire modem Reading the FAQ section it says it works only on a DHCP connection. ATT 2wire modem supports ONLY PPPoE. I wasted hours and a trip back to the store Jan 2, 11

Anonymous: #netgear_wnce2001 Will this device enhance the Wifi signal from a Netgear WNR 1000, so it will go further through the house? Dec 28, 10

Anonymous: No it will not, however it will provide a wireless access point to any non-wireless device with an ethernet port. I personally wouldn't reccomend the wireless range extenders, they tend to not work. Dec 30, 10
