The New Balance MR790 is a trail running shoe that is designed very lightweight, at only 226 grams. The shoe features a synthetic/mesh upper which makes it comfortable and supportive. It has an Acteva premium lightweight midsole that resists compression while the outsole is made of N-Durance rubber compound for strength and durability. The MR790 features an all-terrain tread making it suitable for use both on and off the road and has a rock stop layer in the forefoot which protects the runner from jagged rocks and debris. It includes a Sure Lace feature which keeps the shoe snug around the foot and has a fully-attached gusseted tongue to keep out debris. The shoe is available in a black or brown color and is also available in a women's model, the WR790.
