The New Balance MT609 is a basic all-terrain running shoe designed for long wearing comfort and durability. It has a rugged N-Durance rubber compound outsole for maximum durability and Absorb cushioning in the heel for exceptional shock absorbtion. The synthetic/mesh upper gives lightweight comfort and support with a IMEVA (injection molded EVA foam) midsole for firm yet flexible cushioning. The stability shank imbedded into the midsole gives arch support and helps create a smoother gait. It features an AT Tread all-terrain outsole which combines a running and trail lug configuration for off-road or on-road use.
