The Nextar M3 is an automotive GPS receiver designed to provide navigation and entertainment functionality. The receiver features a 3.5" color touchscreen LCD display with day and night modes which adjusts the screen to the appropriate lighting conditions. It offers instant route recalculations and has a built-in speaker with text-to-speech functionality to provide voice-guided directions and turn-by-turn voice prompts. The Nextar M3 comes preloaded with US maps, 1.6 million points of interest, and has 2D and 3D map viewing modes. It includes a 2GB memory card which allows the memory to be upgraded for loading additional maps. It also has a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for handheld navigation and has MP3 playing and photo viewing modes for in-car entertainment. The Nextar M3 comes with a carrying pouch, suction cup mount, stylus pen, and a 1 year limited warranty.

- Were easy to use, nice touch screen
- Easy to demount from holder, so you may bring it in your pocket
- Good value
Cons
- No expansion interface such as SD card to load more maps.
- The holder does not attach to surfaces well. It falls frequently from both windshield and dash.
- Routing algorithm does not work well. It has routed me in circles more than once.
