Thinner than a deck of playing cards, the Coolpix S210 is Nikon's slimmest ultracompact camera. As with most ultracompact cameras in the price range, the S210 offers facial recognition, image stabilization (electronic in this case, many alternatives offer optical image stabilization), scene modes and the ability to record video. Reviewers mention that the S210 is quite user friendly, both with regards to the menus and the button sizing/placement on the small aluminum body. Photo quality received mixed reviews, with somedescribing it as poor and others praising it.
