This was purchased as a replacement to a casio exilim camera, which I no longer liked because the lens wasn't internal - it extended when powered on. Problem with the Exilim camera is it kept turning on in my pocket and damaging the lens barrel. It was replaced by Costco twice before I decided on the s6.

Overall, I was very happy with my s6. At CompUSA's going out of business sale I picked up an s7c for far less than I paid for the s6, and the menu system and physical controls on the s6 are far superior than those on the s7c.

Back to the s6 review. Great camera. Good flash, good pictures; zoom button is really really small, and tends to get stuck sometimes, but overall I got my money's worth and I still use the camera today.
