Ninja Remote

It's time to take control of your television (or someone else's) with the Ninja Remote. This tiny little remote can change the volume, the channel, and the power. To get started, simply point the remote at the TV and hold down the mute button for a few seconds. Eventually the set will respond and you'll be able to control it with this handy little device. The Ninja Remote can work on a variety of TV's including all the big names like Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, etc. Available from ThinkGeek.

I don't know about this one. I've seen similar devices on watches. Big deal....unless there is a ninja involved somehow, but I doubt it.

I use it to change the channel to ESPN during the morning show at my high school, as well as bringing some fun to my Algebra II class. It works great. I also turn off the cafeteria televisions. Pretty good range as well.
