If you plan on doing any surfing up to an including the year 2016, the Lodown by Nixon will give you the tide charts for over 200 beaches. It is the quintessential wave-catching watch with a wave counter, countdown timer (for catching the next wave), and of course, the tide information. The case is made from reinforced polycarbonate for an especially sturdy shell with a polyurethane band, making it completely waterproof. If your local surfing location isn't included in Nixon's pre-programmed collection, you can add it by determining its relative location from one of the pre-programmed set. By determining its relative location, you can program in an offset, allowing you to have tide information anywhere in the world.

I love the look of this watch, however, I am severely landlocked and see no reason to need a tide chart.
