NO NAME Energy Drink
$7.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Very powerful energy drink. Dropped controversial name for more acceptable NO NAME label.
The Cons:Never even heard of it(CANCLED). Cheesy marketing ploy by giving their product a controversial drug-reference name. Pulled from shelves.
Cocaine NO NAME energy drink was released on the market in December, 2006 and has received a lot of flak for its controversial name. The founders wanted a drink that would give you the energy boost you crave when drinking energy drinks, without all the high sugar content and subsequent low.
The drink is marketed as the legal alternative, which has made many drug-fighting advocates extremely unhappy. As for the drink itself, it claims to be 350% stronger than leading energy drink rival, Red Bull. Although the reviews have agreed with the sentiment that the energy boost is exceedingly high, the general consensus is that the burning sensation through your throat and sinuses is awful.
Update: The Cocaine energy drink is now known as the No Name energy drink after Redux Beverages LLC succumbed to pressures over its controversial name. The can features a section to "Insert name here:" and features a logo that looks like a sticker placed over the previous "Cocaine" logo with the words "NO NAME". It maintains references to Cocaine with the word "CUT" clearly marked on the package. It can be purchased from DrinkNoName store for $39.99 for a case of 24.

#no_name_energy_drink cdgostar's right, the drink is being pulled because of the name. Essentially the FDA is upset that the drink is marketed as the alternative to the drug. The company plans on rebranding. Read more

#no_name_energy_drink tastes like tart strawberry drink. There is an ingrediant to numb your throat and it does. After a while of drinking it, it sort of burns in the back of your throat. Definate pick-me-up though.

#no_name_energy_drink This is a pretty insane product name.. They could have at least taken a hint from Coca-Cola, and made the name a little more subtle (and actually put Cocaine in the the product). I hear they are releasing an injectable version of the energy booster, called "Heroin". It comes with a 10% discount to the Betty Ford clinic.
