The Nokia 2680 Slide is a dual-band entry-level phone, designed to be affordable but with several standard features. It has a simple sliding frame with 65k color screen. Also included are a VGA camera and built-in FM radio receiver. It uses the Nokia 40 operating system with user-determinable shortcuts and offers personal information tools like an organizer with local calendar, calculator and currency calculator. It is capable of Internet browsing over WAP 2.0, and also Bluetooth-enabled. It includes 32MB of internal memory for picture storage and downloadable content, like polyphonic or mp3 ringtones.

Do you agree?
Has Java application support, also MP3 and 3gp playback

Good construction and materials, like most budget Nokia devices

Uses the stable and prove S40 operation system (albeit it lacks features)

Diapad is surprisingly easy to use given how small the phone is, menu and navigation buttons are also well placed

Do you agree?
No SD expansion, very limited photo storage

No USB cable or desktop software, difficult to transfer photos off the phone

Limited internal storage, only 40MB not good enough for 2008 standards
