Nokia 8801

The Nokia 8801 is the North American release version of the Nokia 8800, predecessor to the Nokia 8600 and meant to be a luxury phone. It is tri-band receptive and its stainless steel frame has a uniqe sliding design. Its screen is scratch-resistant, and the display features 256k colors. It has ring tones that are unique to this phone, Bluetooth connectivity, and a, SVGA camera that can be accessed by sliding the frame open. It also includes an FM radio receiver and music player. Browsing is also possible, and the 8801 allows SMS, MMS, email and instant messaging. On-board memory is 64MB and expected battery life is up to 3 hours of talk time. The 8801 does not have a microSD card slot.
