The e61 is a smartphone by Nokia, intended for business users. As such, the first revision lacked a camera. Early adopters bemoaned this ommision, and Nokia quickly responded with the e61i; essentially the same phone with a camera, and some tweaks to the navigation keys.

More information

They run Symbian OS v9.2 and S60. This allows some level of customizability, though it can be slower than other, home-built OS's. One of the phone's biggest features was the inclusion of WiFi and SIP VoIP. Many users purchased it primarily for this function, making the cell providers their secondary carrier. The software suite predictably supports POP3 and IMAP, as well as BlackBerry Connect and Microsoft Exchange.
