The Nokia N96 is a dual-sliding smartphone part of the Nokia Nseries released on October 6th, 2008 in North America and September 24, 2008 in the UK featuring a 2.8" display, 5 megapixel camera, and 16 GB of storage. The camera hasn't been upgraded from its predecessor the Nokia N95, but it features a slimmer body, a kickstand, and lower introductory price. Additionally, the N96 also will have more available RAM on start up, a much desired upgrade by developers. It is a quad-band GSM/EDGE phone capable of running on 3G networks and has WiFi connectivity. The camera sells for around $800 in North America.
