The Nooka Zub Zen is Nooka's second watch with a rubber band, and is similar to the Nooka Zub Zot. With a uniformly colored face and band, the watch creates an illusion of a single unit, with a seamless line between the two pieces. The Zen version of the Nooka watches features 2 vertical lines to represent the hours (1 to 6 and 7 to 12), 1 vertical line representing the minutes and 2 windows for the date and seconds.

Nooka is the brainchild of Matthew Waldman, an artist and designer who wanted to think of new ways to tell time. By separating the minutes from the hours and adding "mass" as more time passes (i.e. increasing the numbers of bars to represent more hours), Waldman is passionate about creating a more intuitive way to tell time.
