Nyko Wand
$40.00
Released March, 2010
The Pros:Enlarged buttons - better for 'classic' gaming. Rubber B button (trigger) for better grip. Digital input port - enables the ability for new accessories to be created that don't have to trigger the Wiimote buttons manually - can simply send a digital signal to the Wiimote that it can broadcast to the system.
The Cons:Looks cheap compared to the official Nintendo Wiimote. D-pad is clunky and harder to use than the original - leads to thumb fatigue a lot faster. Doesn't undercut the price of the official Nintendo Wiimote.
The Nyco Wand is the first Wiimote replacement with built-in Motion Plus support. Built from scratch by Nyco, the unit is the same size as their current third-party Wiimote and is lighter than a Wiimote Motion Plus combo.

The Nyco Wand presents a low cost option for gamers wishing to stock up to four Wiimotes with Motion Plus.
Additional features of the Nyco Wand are rubberized back and buttons for comfort and built-in camera which acts as a Blue Tooth mouse. Although the Nyco Wand is built from scratch if Nintendo publishes a change to Motion Plus, Nyco will be able to update the firmware on the wand (requires sending the controller back to Nyco for flashing).
