Offi Overlap Tray

The Offi overlap tray uses the same principles as the Offi coffee table. Using plywood, designer Eric Pfeiffer uses his unique bending technique to form a continuous piece of furniture with folds, legs and surfaces in one fluid motion. The tray has ample room for a laptop, with a secondary surface available for your mouse, drink or resting arm. The dip in between the 2 surfaces allows for a newspaper or important sheets so it's as if you have a whole workspace fit snugly around your lap. Another benefit to the dip design is that it makes the tray stable enough to sit on the floor or bed, without fear that it will tip over.

In 2005 Eric Pfeiffer left Offi full-time to pursue his own design studio, Pfeiffer Lab, although he continues to design products for Offi. With Pfeiffer's commitment to simplicity, the products he designs, such as this overlap tray are clearly marked with his distinctive style.
