Old Navy Hooded Cover Up

According to Oprah, "A cover-up needs to cover up your thighs. Otherwise, what is it?" and Old Navy's version has the right length with a silhouette that hits just above the knee. The choice of a hood is a nice option for a cover-up, since you can also get your head out of the sun, giving it a break from the heat. The seemingly inconsistent option of very short sleeves is the only drawback to this cover-up, as a three-quarter length option would have been more advisable. Elasticized empire waist and deep V-neck complete the look.

100% cotton and machine washable.

I don't like the dark colors because (from what I learned/heard) it absorbs more heat. I wish they came in lighter colors more fitting for summer.

Totally agreed. I'm surprised they're not offering it in at least white! The Oprah versions were white with longer sleeves, so maybe they haven't been added to the Old Navy site just yet.
