Olympus' FE-26 is an entry-level point-and-shoot digital camera with similar features to the FE-25. Unlike the FE-25, the FE-26 cannot record AVI video, which is one major difference between the two, but the FE-26 has more shooting modes and a higher overall resolution and a larger LCD screen. The FE-26 also has a lower price point, and focuses on being a budget camera. Its optical zoom is 3x, it has 20 preset shooting modes. It has ISO speeds up to 1600 and autofocus tracking, which both help to minimize blurring and enhance clarity in moving or low-light images. This camera operates on AA batteries, can accept either XD memory or microSD cards (with an included adapter), and comes in four different colours. One other feature is an effects mode that digitally renders images in different artistic stylings (e.g. pinhole).
