The Olympus Stylus 1020 is a compact camera for people who want portable with regular sized options. Though not for professional photographers, the Stylus 1020 has enough features to make an intermediate user happy. With face detection, shadow adjustment, dual image stabilization, and 7x zoom, the Olympus Stylus 1020 is marketed as being a travel camera with picture control options. The image quality is above average with acceptable white balance. It does pretty well in terms of pictures for a compact camera, but professional photographers would be better off with a higher end camera.
