Ya, not a bad idea shadowtech. Though I think ATi would clean up on graphics cards :)

Oh, what about SSDs? Those are just starting to make some headway, so knowing which ones to consider would be great.

In general the home theater market this year was pretty quiet. Nothing too much came out, just a lot of refinements to existing lines, with the mainstreaming of LED-based TV sets. Blu-Ray players have been pretty active though, with many coming in sub-$100 now, so I'd put Blu-Ray players as a category for sure.

As for video games, I could see adding Video Game Hardware. You had some decent activity in this area with the DSi, PSP Go, PS3 Slim, Wii Motion+, and price drops on the PS3 and Wii.

Also, Smartphones is a great category. We had it last year, and I'd argue it's even more important this year with all the Android stuff becoming a lot more refined.

I'd probably get rid of GPS Receivers as a category.

So in general:

Keep - Blu-Ray Players, Smartphones, Laptops, Netbooks, TVs, Video Games

Lose - GPS Receivers, MP3 Players, maybe A/V Receivers

Add - Video Game Hardware, maybe Car A/V Head Units

"Now that I've had the game for a couple of days I can give some updated impressions. Overall: This is the best realistic racing game of all time. Period. Hands down. If you're into racers at all, you'll love this game. GT5 has A LOT to live up to.
