Details
The pedometer comes with Omron's advanced health management software to track your calories burned, distance covered, the number of steps you took as well as the number of aerobic steps you took. Steps are deemed aerobic if they occur during 10 consecutive minutes and you're walking more than 60 steps per minute.
Features
- Resets step count automatically at midnight
- Step counting is accurate within 5%
- Displays normal step activity separately from aerobic step activity
- Does NOT need to be kept at a perfect angle for accurate measurements - can be put in your purse or pocket
- Replaceable lithium battery
- Battery lasts up to 6 months
The Omron HJ-720ITC is a much cheaper alternative to the $400 Bodybugg. Although the Bodybugg tracks more of your physical movements, the added web application subscription makes it an unnecessarily expensive addition, while the Omron comes with the required software for free.
