One-Click Butter Cutter

Butter has unfairly gotten a bad name over the years as a high cholesterol, heart-attack inducing enemy of the state. But there are those out there who still love butter and covet it's fatty goodness. This butter cutter takes your butter up a notch by providing you with an easy way to slice off a chunk that is perfectly even and ready for your toast. You place a stick of butter into the container, and by squeezing the press, a perfectly formed piece drops out. The Butter Cutter can store the butter in the fridge and is dishwasher safe.

Details

The Butter Cutter has been in its design phase for the last 10 years. Surprisingly, creating a mold that would work and was durable was more difficult than the inventor originally thought. However, in its final iteration, he found a winner. The Butter Cutter has gotten rave reviews from the Reluctant Gourmet blog and About.com.

I have a question though, do you have to press down hard to get the portion of butter out of the cutter? Because sometimes butter can be really hard to cut!

Check out the video. It's a little long but it gives you a good idea about how it works.
