Pros
- HDMI switching
- the speakers have a "keyhole" type hanging system that lets them hang from screws set in the walls (screws not included)
- the receiver comes with an iPod dock that plugs in the back of the receiver
- all the HDMI, component and digital audio connections are "assignable" meaning that you can decide you want HDMI #1 to be associated with dvd and HDMI #2 to be associated with your DVR or whatever
- if you dont want the 7.1, you can move 2 speakers to another room and set them up on channel B
- documentation is very detailed
Cons
- Thin speaker wire included
- HDMI inputs are passthrough only; that means no audio over HDMI
- No analog video transcoding or upscaling to HDMI
- No speaker stands included
- extremely big and bulky
