The Optoma HD7100 is a fully high definition DLP projector. With a native resolution of 1280x720, the HD7100 features Texas Instruments’ DarkChip3 DLP display technology. The Optoma HD7100 displays at 1000 lumen brightness, and at a 5000:1 contrast ratio. At 32 dB, the noise level of this projector is slightly higher than average. The HD7100 uses Composite, Component, S-Video, D-Sub 15pin, and DVI inputs, as well as RS-232 and IR receivers for its remote control. Available April 2004, the Optoma HD7100 retails at $1100.
