The Optoma HD73 is a fully high definition home theatre projector displaying at a native resolution of 1280x768. The HD73 features ImageAI technology, which automatically adjust the light intensity based on the users viewing needs. At the heart of the HD73 is Texas Instruments’ DarkChip3 DLP technology. The HD73 produces a 1100 lumen brightness in its display, along with a 6000:1 contrast ratio in ImageAI mode. The Optoma HD73 also features a 1.2x Manual Focus/Digital Zoom on a wide angle zoom lens, and manual lens shift of 4 directions - horizontally and vertically. Available December 2006, the HD73 retails at $1300.
