The Optoma Pico PK102 is a miniature, DLP pico projector built as a successor to the PK-101. Like its predecessor, it is lightweight, compact, and utilizes DLP technology to deliver HVGA images up to 60” in size. Unlike its predecessor, however, the PK102 sports 4GB of internal memory — enough for 6000 pictures of 8 hours video — a much superior 2000:1 contrast ratio, and a universal port capable of receiving VGA and superior-quality component video. Included also is a conventional AC power port (versus USB). Other than that, it is pretty much the same. It also includes a composite connection, a single 0.5W mono speaker, and a 480x320 resolution. Both the brightness and the resolution are the PK102’s largest drawbacks. But it makes up for this with extreme portability and richness/saturation of color.
