It is the next step up in size from the 65" WD-65736. One of the main differences is that the WD-73736 uses Mitsubishi's DeepField Imager, which is supposed to adjust brightness and contrast automatically to enhance the picture. It also has an additional front HDMI input, and Mitsubishi's NetCommand feature that is supposed to synchronize A/V devices and receivers to reduce the need for multiple remotes. It uses a DLP projector and has a 1920x1080 resolution. It displays HDMI up to 1080p, has video noise reduction and a 6-color Mitsubishi processor. It has two 10W stereo speakers and multiple inputs. It is compatible with Dolby Digital/PCM and comes with an audio leveler. It also features the same thin frame from the 735 series. Physically, the WD-73736 looks nearly identical to the WD-73735. The WD-73736 is a higher-end DLP projection TV.

The Mitsubishi 735 Series is a group of widescreen HD DLP projection televisions, all with large screen sizes (the smallest is 60"-diagonal). They are mid-range TVs, and though they do not use LCD or plasma displays, the frames are still thin for projection units. They are designed largely for home theatre use, and support high-definition resolutions up to 1080p. They all feature Mitsubishi's 12-bit digital video processor and 36 bit deep color, as well as 4D video noise reduction. They also come with DLP's 3D TV feature. Every member of the series has 2 rear component inputs and 1 front input, as well as 3 rear HDMI inputs and two audio outputs (stereo and digital). Each unit has two 10W speakers and a front component/composite input. The 735 series are all compatible with Dolby Digital and AC3 surround sound and have an audio leveler. All three of the TVs in this series have absolutely identical features. The only differences are in physical size weight and screen size.

The ViewSonic N3735w is a "37 widescreen LCD HDTV, and is the largest of the ViewSonic N LCD series. Retailing at just $1,197.00, this piece comes as a no-frills LCD display targeted for the folks who are looking for a bargain large monitor. It has two HDMI and HDCP inputs, which is more than what the smaller screens offer in the same ViewSonic series. Its resolution is the same as the smaller ones though: 1366x768, and its contrast ratio comes at the lower range of the series: 1200:1 only (contrast ratio measures how dark the dark colors appear and how light the light colors appear.. static refers to stills, dynamic refers to motion playback). Its candle life is pretty good and consistent with the rest of the series: 500cd/m2.

ViewSonic N3290w

The ViewSonic N3290w is a no frills 32" widescreen LCD TV that's very cheap for its size. This flat screen TV is an LCD display, which is generally the best kind of flat-panel screen for viewing in brightly-lit rooms. Critics agree that this piece offers very good value for money, despite the scarcity of its features. It has a 1366x768, which is the same as the $679 ViewSonic N3235w. Its contrast ratio is amazing both staticly and dynamically (1500:1, 10000:1 respectively). Its response time is 6.5 ms (response time measures the quality of rendering fast moving objects, and how well a display can eliminate blur) which is not as good as the typical speed in the market at the time, but is still better than the rest of the ViewSonic N LCD series (which is at 8ms). Its brightness is a good 500cd/m2.

The ViewSonic N2690w is a low cost 26" widescreen LCD TV with a 1366x768 native resolution. It has very similar features to ViewSonic N2635w, which retails at about $600. It has a less than average 800:1 static contrast ratio but a very impressive 6000:1 dynamic contrast ratio. Critics agree that this piece provides good value for money at a price of about $482. Its response time is 8ms, which is not as good as the typical speed of 4ms today (response time measures the quality of rendering fast moving objects, and how well a display can eliminate blur). Its brightness is very impressive at 500cd/m2 (other ViewSonic LCD displays usually come at 250 or 300cd/m2 like the ViewSonic NX2232w).

The ViewSonic NX1932w is a 19-inch, LCD television, Compared to other LCD TVs on the market, it is very inexpensive at around $270. This unit is an LCD display, which is generally the best kind of flat-panel screen for viewing in brightly-lit rooms. It comes with a 1440x 900 resolution, its contrast ratio is 800:1 and 2400:1 dynamic. This range is pretty poor relative to the more expensive sets, but its reasonable considering the price range. The ViewSonic N1930w is almost identical in all features, but has a much better contrast ratio (1800:1 static , 4000:1 dynamic) and is just $30 more expensive. One must note that this piece has a 16:10 format, rather than the typical 16:9 the N1930w has (16:9 being the superior one).

The ViewSonic N2230w is a 22" widescreen LCD HDTV. It has a 1680x1050 resolution and a 5ms response time that measures how well images are rendered, as well as a brightness of 300 cd/m2 (all three are identical in ViewSonic N2201w), however this one has a 4000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, which is persumably better than that of the N2201w model since that ones doesn't mention anything about the dynamic contrast ratio. It has an integrated ATSC/NTSC/QAM (cable) tuner and comprehensive inputs including HDMI. This piece is suitable for bedrooms, offices, dorm rooms, garages and kitchens. However, this piece doesn't have a built in DVD player like the N2201w model does.

The ViewSonic N1930w is a 19" widescreen LCD HDTV. A step above the ViewSonic N1630w, this monitor costs $300. It is an LCD display which is generally the best kind of flat-panel screen for viewing in brightly-lit rooms. Having a wide aspect display, it is ideal for DVD movies recorded in the 16:9 format, as well as high definition programming. Interestingly, this piece has a much lower aspect ratio than the ViewSonic N1630w (4000:1 vs 10000:1) Contrast ratio measures the ratio of the luminance of the brightest color (white) of the screen to that of the darkest color on the screen (black) that the system is capable of producing. This contrast ratio is still better than the HP and Dell monitors, which are 3000:1 at best. Response time at 5ms is notably better than the ViewSonic N1630w, but is still less than the standard with the typical value being 4ms (Response time is a determinant of how well fast moving objects are rendered and how little blur happens). It also has better brightness (300 cd/m2 vs 250 cd/m2)
