"Outstanding car. I have the 06 Package 1, DSG, Reflex Silver and 18" "Hufs". The car is extremely fun to drive, cornering is aggressive and forgiving (I drive Hwy 1 in No Cal often), and the passing gear is unbelievable. As a comparison (passing gear): From 50 - 70 and 70 - 90, it takes the new Civic Si takes 11 seconds. The GTI takes just over 4 seconds. No, it isn't the fastest 0-60, nor is top end the fastest (limited to 130). But for jumping onto a freeway with a short on-ramp it is awesome, for passing quickly it takes a much more muscular car to do it as quick. And the DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) transmission with the paddle shifters is just about the coolest thing in the car. Go buy it. You get so much for more for the money than you can with a comparable Subaru, Honda, or Mini. " more
