The Palm Centro is a mid-level, quad-band 2G smartphone. It has a 65k-color touchscreen as well as a full QWERTY keypad, and is designed for use with instant messaging platforms and social networking sites. It allows instant messaging for AOL, Yahoo and MSN Messenger, and can synchronize with email accounts. The Centro also has a detailed organizer/contact book that can sync with a computer. It also has a 1.3-megapixel digital camera, Blazer Internet browser, document viewer and editor, and mp3 player. The Centro's internal memory capacity is 64MB, but this can be expnaded up to 4GB using a microSD card. It is also Bluetooth wireless capable, and gets around 4 hours of talk time per battery charge.
