There is a new wave of mini, radio-controlled helicopters beginning with the Silverlit Picco Z. However, the Palmsize R/C Helicopter (available from ThinkGeek) is even smaller. You have control over the helicopter with the use of an infrared remote allowing you to control the flight of the helicopter with left/right and up/down controls. The helicopter moves forward at a constant, slow speed that can be adjusted by twisting the tail to the left or right before taking flight.

reminds me of a toy we had around as kids---helicopter on a crank with a trigger that sends it flying towards the ceiling in your house....sweet
