Panasonic DMP-BD65
$119.99
Released April, 2010
The Pros:Upscaling is well rendered, creates detailed near-HD video with DVD content. Looks sleek, not cluttered with a lot of panel buttons that you'll never use. Runs quietly, can't hear the internal mechanisms at work.
The Cons:Some conspicuous missing services in online services - no Pandora, VUDU, Blockbuster Online. No onboard memory, which matters since BD Live requires it, will need to add USB memory stick or SD card. No built-in WiFi - adapter sold separately, but very expensive at $100.
