The Panasonic DMR-E95HS is a progressive-scan DVD player/recorder with a built-in 160 GB hard disk and PC card slot with the ability to record DVD-RAM and DVD-R discs. The DVD drive is capable of playing virtually all disc types with MP3 capabilities and progressive-scan video for high-definition video fit for an HDTV. The 160 GB hard drive can store up to 284 hours of programming with the ability to transfer all information to a DVD disc from cable or external digital video camera. It also allows you to record one program while watching another and the direct navigator allows you to easily manage and watch programs you have already recorded. There are several inputs allowing to connect it to nearly any external home entertainment device, including a FireWire input for compatible digial cameras and the special PC Card slot is compatible with many forms of media including PC Card, Memory Card, CompactFlash Card, MultiMediaCard, Smart Media Card, and Memory Stick.
