The Panasonic KX-TG9344 expandable digital cordless phone is a higher end product with many features and multi-handset capability. DECT 6.0 (Digital Enhanced Cordless Telecommunications) technology allows the user to move around the home freely with long range and clear sound. Operating in the 1.9GHz frequency range, this phone will not conflict with other wireless devices in the home. Using text-to-speech technology, the Caller ID information is announced between rings, so the user does not have to be holding the phone to see who's calling. This phone also features a talking alarm clock for important reminders, as well as a talking battery alert when the battery is low. With Night Mode, each individual handset can be programmed to ring, or to not ring, at the user's discretion. Even with the ringer off, missed calls can be avoided with the Light Up Indicator with Ring Alert, which flashes at the base of the antenna to show there is an incoming call, and will also flash slowly to indicate a new message This phone comes with four handsets (one base and three chargers) with the option of adding up to two additional handsets.
