The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 is a 12.1 megapixel compact digital camera from Panasonic's 2009 lineup. The camera is a step up from Panasonic's 10.1 megapixel Lumix DMC-FS20 since it has a higher resolution and also has 5x optical and 20x digital zoom compared to the 4x optical zoom of the DMC-FS20. It features a 30mm Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens for taking wide angle shots and is capable of 848x480 video recording. The Lumix DMC-FS15 has 50MB of built-in flash memory for storing video and still images as well as an SDHC expansion slot. It is designed with a 2.7" high resolution LCD display and includes numerous photography features such as image stabilization and face detection. The camera is available in a black, silver, or blue finish and is expected to be released in April 2009.
