The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX500 is set to be released in May, 2008 and is one of the first digital cameras on the market with a touchscreen LCD. The idea behind the touchscreen is that it provides the user with an easy-to-use interface, similar to the iPhone. The main benefit to the touchscreen is that you can select the object you want to focus on, directly on the touchscreen.
