Panasonic SC-BT300

The Panasonic SC-BT300 is part of the newly announced high-end Blu-ray player line from Panasonic, which was unveiled at the 2009 CES event in Las Vegas. The SC-BT300 is at the higher end of the spectrum being one of two models; the other is the Panasonic SC-BT200. Both models feature 7.1 channel audio, wireless rear speakers, and an integrated iPod device dock for custom media (video, audio, and photos) viewing via a home television. The diaphragm of the front center channel speakers are made out of a unique bamboo fiber which is specifically designed to reproduce crystal clear sound quality at a wide range of frequencies. Smart setup technology allows users to configure their device quickly and easily through the custom GUI displayed on-screen. Both Blu-ray devices offer an optional connection to the internet so that users can experience BD-Live content; the internet connection also allows users to take advantage of the VIERA cast and Amazon Video-On-Demand (VOD) content to provide additional media options. The SC-BT300 Blu-ray device has a total 1,250 watt output; and uses 20% less power when compared to Panasonic's previous Blu-ray models (SC-BT100).
