Panasonic's SC-PT660 home theatre features a 5-disc DVD changer with upscaling technology; with HDMI, the player converts standard definition 480p picture from any DVD to full 1080p high definition, for maximum performance. The audio is sent to a full 5.1 surround speaker setup, featuring a Kelton Subwoofer, which with Panasonic's proprietary Whisper-Mode Surround technology produces full and dynamic surround sound even at low volumes. With an optional kit sold separately, the rear speakers can be used wirelessly, eliminating clutter, and the SC-PT660 also supports Panasonic's wireless multi-room speaker kit for easy listening in any room of the house. The receiver is also iPod-ready, and features VIERA Link for interfacing with Panasonic VIERA flat screen televisions.
