The Panasonic SDR-S25 is another cheap camcorder that has better features than some of the more expensive Panasonic camcorders on the market. It has a 70x optical zoom, much better than the 30x zoom that the SDR-H200 offers for more than double the price. One thing that makes the product less exciting, and more deserving of its price, is that instead of a built-in hard drive, the Panasonic SDR-S25 relies on the use of SDHC memory cards to store the video - memory cards that are not included and have to be purchased. Other than that, the camcorder has some of the usual features: Optical Image Stabilization, Stereo Zoom Mike, 2.0 Hi-speed USB, and Mac compatibility. It also includes the VideoCam Suite V2.0 software and a YouTube uploader that makes it easy to take the videos and put them out there for everyone to see.
