Released in May 2008 the Panasonic SDR-S7 is a inexpensive miniature standard definition camcorder that comes in both silver and black. It is small enough to fit into a pocket or a bag, but not small enough to fit into a pocket discretely. It includes a neat pre-rec function that starts recording a full three seconds before the recording properly begins, allowing the consumer to capture even more of spontaneous events and not miss out because they were a little slow to hit the button. The Panasonic SDR-S7 comes with MotionSD Studio 1.3E software to help the consumer arrange the scenes in different orders and add video effects. The quality of video that the SDR-S7 produces is not very good, but the small size and somewhat inexpensive price makes up for it.
