Released in 2008 the Panasonic SDR-SW20 is a waterproof, shock resistant standard definition camcorder. It is compact enough to fit into a bag or a pocket, and is waterproof which means it can take video in rain or snow, or even up to five feet underwater, making it perfect for consumers with a pool. It is shockproof, resistant to drops up to 4 feet and dustproof making it a good option for the sandy beach. Though the Panasonic SDR-SW20 is great because of its size and durability, it also suffers from poor quality video and a relatively expensive price. It has similiar features and video quality as the Panasonic SDR-S7 but is a good hundred dollars more expensive meaning the consumer is paying that extra hundred just to be able to take it in the pool.
