Panasonic VIERA TC-P46S2
$1,100.00
Released March, 2010
The Pros:Excellent color contrast - 2,000,000:1 ratio provides deep, vivid hues amongst HD content. Involves few issues commonly associated with plasma TVs - screen burn-in and excessive heat levels are managed via automatic picture and energy adjustment. Excellent price for the size and feature set - wide variety of inputs and excellent picture quality rival similar models closer to the sub-$2000 price point.
The Cons:Image clarity is below-average amongst standard definition content - not recommended for users who primarily view over-the-air channels. Viewing picture and video content from the SD card slot is slow and sluggish - takes more than 5 seconds to switch between pictures and much longer for videos.
