The Paradigm Cinema Phantom speakers are large, tall and not unobtrusive as the name suggests. Like the Cinema Micro speakers, it looks like the manufacturers named it based on what they wanted it to be (a phantom, an unobtrusive device that hides in the background) instead of what it actually is (large, tall, obvious, black box). The phantom speakers are floor standing, weigh 23.5 lbs each, come only in black, and measure 33-3/8 inches in height, 6-1/2 inches in width, and 10-9/16 inches in depth. The maximum input power is 85 watts while the suitable amplifier power range goes from 15 watts to 110 watts. The manufacturer site does not list the Paradigm Cinema Phantom speakers as being magnetically shielded, so it is important to confirm this fact on the box before buying. If they aren't magnetically shielded then they will cause distortions in monitor or TV screens and can damage computer hard drives.
