August 1, 2007 at 10:50 am

" The MX is a great mouse. It is small enough to be portable, but large enough to be usable. It is a bit small for large hands for a extended duration, but perfect for folks on the go. I travel *extensively* (as much as 90%) and the mouse hasn't gained so much as a scratch. The USB dongle fits very nicely into the mouse for easy travel, making it impossible to lose. It does work just fine with XP and Vista, right out of the box. I have the desktop version as well, and like that the desktop's middle wheel's switch to 'free-wheeling' can be gradual - when you spin the middle wheel FAST, it auto-switches to frictionless spinning. It is actually far more useful than it sounds. However, this version has only the capability for ON or OFF. There is no gradual switch. It comes with software that I've never found to be particularly useful. "
