The Pros:Uniform bezel looks sleek and stylish. Picture is crisp and clear, can pick out tiny details from across the room. Energy efficient, draws very little power when in operation, almost nothing when off.
The Cons:Remote is weak, has to be pointed directly at the sensor. Ambient light sensor makes the screen much too dim, begin to loose detail in the picture. Lag is noticeable when using gaming consoles.
The 40PFL7505D/F7 is a 40" LCD HDTV from Philips' 7500 Series for 2010. The TV has an ultra-slim design with a rounded bezel and features a widescreen LED-backlit display. It offers a full HD native resolution of 1080p and has 120Hz video processing for reduced motion blur and smooth high-speed images.

The TV includes integrated speakers with SRS TruSurround HD for accompanying virtual stereo sound. The 40PFL7505D/F7 is designed to be Eco-friendly and utilizes advanced LED technology, meeting Energy Star 4.0 standards. It has a Powersave mode and an ambient light sensor which adjusts the backlighting to the lighting conditions of the room which conserves energy. The TV also includes four HDMI 1.4 ports and is enabled with DivX HD, but differs with the 40PFL7705D since it lacks NetTV capabilities. The 40PFL7505D/F7 is expected to be released in April 2010 and has a suggested retail price of $1299.
