Philips DVP 3140/30 is a basic model with limited features. This DVD player is catered towards those who do not want to spend a bundle, but would like to have a DVD player with some capabilities. The design focus of this model was giving it multi-format playback, supported by DivX Ultra and WMA. A decent picture is produced by the progressive scan and 12bit/108MHz DAC video processer found on the DVP 3140/37.
