Philips designed the DVP 5992/37 with convenience in mind. The DivX Ultra feature bundles together integrated subtitles, multiple audio languages, multiple tracks and menus into a single format . The video potential is capable of 720p/1080i/p video upscaling, along with progressive scan and HDMI, but only with a 12bit/108MHz D/A video converter. Multi-formats are not an issue, as MPEG and DivX videos are recognized, along with MP3, PCM and WMA audio files.
