The Philips GoGear Cam is an advanced portable media player that inherits all the functionality of the GoGear Aria—DRM audio/video playback, an RDS-enabled FM tuner, and 8GB of integrated memory—but adds along a back-facing 2MP camcorder so the user can take stills and record VGA videos.

Plus the Cam adds along a microSD card slot for memory expansion. Like its predecessor, the Cam hosts a microphone for audio capture, a 2” display for playback, and an advanced file-management system that allows users to view and organize their collection via a conventional folder setup. There’s also a composite video output for transmitting captured videos to a compatible television.
